| The groom’s family is taken to the wedding pavilion, with family members and Nadaswaram musicians in tow |

| The bride's family will receive them at the gate with garlands, bouquets and floral showers. The nuptial chains are exchanged and the groom and family are taken to the decorated pandal (pavilion) for the rituals with the Hindu priest (Poojari) and Nadaswaram musicians in tow |

| Wedding rings are exchanged as well as the Garlands are exchanged by the couple and the nuptial chain tied. This signifies their sacred union as husband and wife. Wedding sadhya (feast) on banana leaves follows. Afternoon at leisure |
